FEJA Terms

Terms of Service

The rules for using FEJA — what we provide, what we do not, and what we each expect of the other.

Effective 5 August 2026 · Applies to the FEJA apps and ofeja.com

In short

1. About these terms

FEJA is operated by FEJA Family Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17383395, with its registered office at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. Below, "we", "us" and "our" mean FEJA Family Ltd; "you" means the person using FEJA.

These terms apply to the FEJA apps and to ofeja.com. By creating an account or using FEJA, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.

2. Who can use FEJA

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are, and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

FEJA is available in most countries, but we do not promise that every programme shown is open to applicants from every country. That depends entirely on the provider.

3. Your account

Accounts use an email address and a password. When you have one:

  • Give us accurate information and keep it current. Your age and country affect what we show you, so wrong details mean worse results for you.
  • Keep your password and device secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, unless someone used it without your knowledge and through no fault of yours.
  • Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.
  • Hold one account at a time.
  • Tell us at support@ofeja.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Section 12 explains what happens then.

4. What FEJA is, and is not

FEJA is a discovery platform. It brings study, exchange and career programmes together in one place so you can browse, filter and save the ones that interest you, then go to the provider to apply.

FEJA is not the provider of any programme listed. We are not a university, school, employer, recruitment agency, education consultancy or immigration adviser. We do not process applications, take no part in admissions decisions, and nothing in the app is legal, immigration, financial or academic advice.

Some listings come from organisations we work with directly; others are programmes we have found and think are worth showing. Appearing in FEJA is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a statement that a programme suits you. Where to apply is your decision, and we would encourage you to do your own research alongside anything you find here.

5. Listings and accuracy

Listings are compiled from information supplied by providers and from public sources. We take reasonable care, but we cannot verify every detail continuously and providers change things without telling us.

So we do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or current — including deadlines and dates, fees and funding, eligibility and entry requirements, language requirements, accreditation, or whether the programme is still running.

Always confirm details directly with the provider before you make a decision, spend money, or rely on a deadline. If you spot something wrong, tell us at support@ofeja.com and we will look into it.

We also make no promise about outcomes. Nothing in FEJA means you will be admitted, funded, granted a visa, or offered a place.

6. Applying

Applications do not happen in FEJA. When you tap Apply we open the provider's own website, and we send them none of your personal information — the Privacy Policy sets this out.

Once you are on a provider's site, their terms and privacy policy govern what happens. Any agreement you enter is between you and them; we are not a party to it, have no control over their site, process, fees or decisions, and are not responsible for their content. A link is not an endorsement.

If something goes wrong with a provider we cannot resolve it for you, but we would still like to hear about it, because it affects whether we keep listing them.

7. Saved programmes

You can save programmes to your account, and the list is stored on our servers so it is available whenever you sign in.

Saving is for your reference only. It does not reserve a place, register your interest, or notify the provider. A saved listing may be updated or removed if the programme changes or ends.

8. FEJA is free

There is no subscription, no fee to browse or save programmes, and no charge to apply through a link in the app. We do not ask for payment details.

We may introduce paid features later. If we do, we will say clearly what is included and what it costs, and you will never be charged without expressly agreeing. Any purchase through the app would be handled by Apple or Google under their own payment terms.

Providers do not pay for placement in a way that changes what you see in search or filter results.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use FEJA unlawfully, or to harm, harass or defraud anyone
  • scrape, crawl or harvest listings by automated means, or copy substantial parts of our content for use elsewhere
  • use bots or scripts to access the service, other than a standard browser or the official app
  • resell, republish or commercially exploit any part of FEJA without our written permission
  • reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law permits
  • interfere with the service, bypass rate limits or security features, or probe our systems without permission — good-faith security reports are welcome at support@ofeja.com
  • impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your age or affiliation
  • upload anything designed to damage the service or another user

10. Our content

FEJA, its design, software, text, layout and branding belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. "FEJA" and our logo are our trademarks.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and website for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.

Programme names, descriptions, logos and images belong to the providers or their owners and are shown for identification and information. We claim no rights in them. If you believe something in FEJA infringes your rights, email support@ofeja.com and we will act promptly.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely and without obligation to you. Please keep sending them — but do not send us anything you consider confidential.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep FEJA available and working, but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

We may change, add or remove features as the product develops. If we discontinue a significant feature, or the service as a whole, we will give reasonable notice where we can and a way to export your saved programmes. To keep using FEJA you may need to install updates and have a supported device.

12. Closing an account

If you want to leave

Delete your account in the app at any time, or email us and we will do it. Your profile and saved programmes are removed as described in the Privacy Policy, and these terms stop applying apart from the sections meant to survive.

If we suspend or close an account

We may suspend or close an account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we need to protect the service or other users. Except where it would be unlawful or unreasonable, we will tell you why and give you the chance to put it right. If you think we have got it wrong, email support@ofeja.com and we will look again.

13. Disclaimers

FEJA is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and do not promise the service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or that listings will be accurate or complete. We give no warranty about providers, their programmes, their conduct, or the outcome of any application.

If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights — in the UK, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; in the EEA, under the consumer law of the country where you live.

14. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for:

  • the acts, omissions, decisions, fees or content of any provider or third-party website
  • loss arising from inaccurate, outdated or incomplete listing information, including a missed deadline
  • the outcome of any application, admission, funding or visa decision
  • indirect or consequential loss, or loss of opportunity, profit, revenue or data
  • loss caused by events outside our reasonable control

Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100. As FEJA is free, that amount will normally be nil.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, but not for anything unforeseeable. We provide FEJA for personal use only and are not liable for business losses.

If you break these terms or use FEJA unlawfully and that causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable losses, costs and legal fees that result. This applies only to your own breach, does not apply to anything caused by us, and if you are a consumer does not extend beyond what the law allows.

15. App Store terms

These apply if you downloaded FEJA from the Apple App Store, and prevail over anything above for App Store users.

  • This agreement is with us, not Apple. These terms are between you and FEJA Family Ltd only. Apple is not a party to them, and we alone are responsible for FEJA and its content.
  • Licence scope. Your licence is non-transferable and limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for support and maintenance. Apple has no obligation to provide any.
  • Warranty. We are solely responsible for any warranty, express or implied. If FEJA fails to conform to an applicable warranty you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price — which, as FEJA is free, is nil. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to FEJA or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
  • Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims FEJA infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • Legal compliance. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party terms. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms when using FEJA.
  • Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

16. Google Play terms

If you downloaded FEJA from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. These terms are between you and FEJA Family Ltd; Google is not a party to them and is not responsible for FEJA or its content. Where these terms conflict with the Google Play Terms of Service, the Google Play terms apply to that conflict only.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as FEJA develops or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.

For minor changes we update this page. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before it applies. Continuing to use FEJA after a change takes effect means you accept it.

18. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not reduce your protection. You keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings there. If you live in the European Economic Area, you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.

Before going to court, please contact us at support@ofeja.com. Most things are quicker to fix directly.

19. General

Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about FEJA.

Severability. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.

Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, for example if the business is sold. We will tell you, and it will not reduce your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.

Third parties. Nobody other than you and us can enforce these terms, apart from Apple as described in section 15.

Language. These terms are written in English; any translation is for convenience and the English version governs.
