- Financial support plus personality development programme and study abroad funding
- Selection based on academic excellence, social skills, communication, engagement
- Two application routes: self-application or nomination by professor/exam office
- Includes two interviews and group exercises in a 3-day seminar

Eligibility
- Enrolled at a Bavarian university in Bachelor's, state examination or consecutive Master's (not second degree)
- At least 3rd subject semester at application; at least 2 semesters remaining at funding start
- Max 22 years old at 1 April funding start (exceptions possible)
- Submit application documents and two expert references by deadlines
- German language skills at B2 level for elite study programme nominees
