- Monthly stipend of 80,000 JPY
- For students from partner higher education institutions
- Covers study at Japanese universities and colleges
- Applications accepted only via Japanese host schools

Eligibility
- Students from countries with diplomatic relations with Japan (incl. Taiwan, Palestine)
- Accepted under student exchange agreement with home school
- Lack financial means to study in Japan
- Eligible for Student Visa
- Will return to complete studies at home school
- Excellent academic and personal record
- Not receiving >80,000 JPY/month from other Japan scholarships
